The participants are expected to have a general knowledge of food safety and/or microbiology and statistics (e.g. ordinary regression).

Students should bring a laptop computer with R (http://www.r-project.org) and RStudio (http://www.rstudio.org) installed.

Although experience with the R software is helpful, it is not necessary as instructions of the basics will be given during the course.
